A little less than a month ago, I was at Laracon, soaking in all the new framework features and exciting releases. I came home from that conference excited to check out the new Livewire v3 beta and play around with Prompts to make my cli commands easier to interact with.
But sometimes this excitement might not be easy to translate into the work we do day in and day out. For example, if we have a production Livewire v2 app, do we really want to dive in and upgrade that to the v3 beta right away? Probably not.
And then you have to consider how your excitement may not be shared by your co-workers or your boss/client. Just decided on your own to do something new in an established code base can lead to frustration from others on the team.
In the latest episode of the No Compromises podcast, Aaron talks me down from my post-conference excitement and shares some really useful tips for taking that excitement and harnessing it in a productive way for the team.
