I like keeping my Laravel projects lean and avoid bringing in unnecessary packages.
But I also appreciate the package ecosystem and how much time it can save me when building an app. So there's benefit in at least knowing what packages are available and what problems they solve.
I was recently working with Hassan on some fancy new designs for Mastering Laravel, and he mentioned his site Laravel Package Ocean, which I hadn't seen before.
It's a curated and categorized list of packages, and as a bonus, it is beautifully designed. You can also see at a glance which versions of Laravel the package supports.
Go check it out and see what's new and interesting in the Laravel package ecosystem.
Here to help,
Joel
P.S. I'm really excited to show you the new design. In the meantime, if you want to support our work, we really appreciate it.
